Pension zum Weinberg

For years I stayed overnight at Steffen's guesthouse two or three times annually while visiting my ailing parents. Steffen and I had private chats over time and were on friendly terms, but that’s over now. A new partner in the background seems to have a say in who can stay, and, apparently because of her unfounded jealousy, my confirmed booking was canceled without any explanation. It seems I’m no longer welcome. Ladies, perhaps take a look in the mirror first, and don’t pretend to be nice. I feel sorry for poor Steffen.

They confirmed the rooms verbally, then rented them to someone else two days later. I wasted time on phone calls, and the customer service was poor.

We’ve already made up our minds to return next year after a wonderful weekend at the guesthouse with three families. The rooms were lovely and we all slept well, and breakfast was excellent. For our Friday barbecue, they readily brought us a grill, which made us feel right at home. Many thanks, Family Ressel!

A spacious room, fresh and clean throughout, friendly hosts, free Wi-Fi, and a tasty breakfast. We had a great stay and I’d gladly come back. If you’re trying to keep the cost down, book here. Other places charge twice as much for the same service. I’d give it more stars if I could.
