The wine pairings brought out the best in every course, whether we chose the Classique or Miniature menu. The dining room always felt welcoming, from Mr. Klammer greeting us to that little splash of grappa in our espresso at the end. Every wedding anniversary, Mr. Baumann and his team treated us to the same wonderful food we enjoyed on our wedding day. Sadly, we learned this would be our last visit when Mr. Baumann closed the business and retired on February 18, 2017. We’re very grateful for all those lovely evenings at the brasserie.

Mrs. Baumann knows digestifs inside out, and Mr. Klammer's service is always first-rate. As for Mr. Baumann's cooking, it's divine. Brasserie Baumann is still one of my favorite restaurants, and every visit brings something that feels like a new discovery.

The way Mr. Klammer looks after us is phenomenal, and the menus keep drawing us back. Mr. Baumann makes brilliant food, even when we need special arrangements for allergies. Every time we eat at Brasserie Baumann, it feels like a highlight, and this dream team delights us all over again.

Lafer, Schuhbeck & Co? Mr. Baumann's cooking is a feast for the palate and tongue every time. A real culinary highlight for the metropolitan region.
