Holiday Inn Express Furth by IHG

At 1900 on Monday, October 7th, 2025, I had a shocking experience at the front desk. My uncle, who I had booked for, urgently needed bed rest because of his handicap. The lady staff member didn't return my greeting, then looked up and asked, “What do you want?” She said there was no reservation and that I'd wasted her time and the customers' time behind me. I checked my phone and resent the booking confirmation. Seeing it seemed to make her even more upset and rude. I felt bad vibes from the start, and she yelled at me until I yelled back, which shouldn't have been necessary. I'm a black man, and I'm sure that was a factor in her disrespect. Unfortunately, that sometimes happens here in Europea. She had an Eastern European accent, and I speak German. Her German was terrible. The staff member beside her at the desk never corrected her and let it continue. It was embarrassing to end up in a shouting match while paying. After I scolded her in German, much better than she could speak it, she realized I wasn't an ordinary black man. When I stepped aside, she greeted the white customer behind me very kindly. I live nearby and will come back very soon if I don't hear from this establishment.
