Alpennest Comfortable Holiday Residence

The location was great, about a 10-minute walk to the Festspielhaus (Festival Hall) and 15-20 minutes to the old town. From the quiet apartment, we could even see Neuschwanstein Castle. It was cozy, spotless, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was quick and efficient. There’s no check-in or check-out routine, since you use a code sent in advance. We were thrilled with the cleanliness and furnishings, and I’d highly recommend this rental for a few lovely days in Füssen and the surrounding area.

Our ground-floor apartment for two was small but cozy, tastefully decorated, and had a lovely mountain view. It had everything needed to cook for ourselves, and having a parking space right outside was very convenient, with no long trek to the car. Thanks for the lovely place to stay.

The view was wonderful, and the place was clean and quiet. It was fully equipped and in a perfect location. Self check-in was especially handy since we arrived late on short notice.

I started off pleased, but by the end I wouldn’t book this vacation rental again. Sorry, dear owners, this place could be so much better. The positives were the private parking space and the view of Neuschwanstein Castle. Everything else I noticed was frustrating: a broken wine glass in the cupboard that could seriously hurt someone, a used dish sponge, and a cigarette butt left in the outdoor ashtray. There were cigarette bits on the kitchen knife too. The stovetop was dirty, the kettle and coffee maker dusty, and the bathroom mirror unclean. The fly screen was broken, there were no blinds or other way to darken the windows, and despite all the cables, Netflix didn’t work and there was no internet. The bedside table looked nice but couldn’t be used, there were no towel hooks, and the bathroom light was far too dim. Dear owners, I hope these negative reviews give you a kick in the pants and prompt you to make the apartment somewhere you’d want to live yourselves.
