A good price for a nice apartment with two separate rooms and a kitchen. There's no breakfast, but a good German restaurant and a nice bakery are right next door.

The highway noise was kept out well by the windows, which have good sound insulation. The four of us had a lovely weekend near Fulda, staying in the gable suite and the journeyman's room. The apartment already had everything we needed, plus a bit more. Our only suggestion is better blackout curtains in the gable suite, though a sleep mask does the job. A perfect weekend for us.

We spent Christmas in the "Old Bakery" holiday apartment, and several things were disappointing. The living room had a radiator by the window, but it wasn't connected, so the room couldn't be heated. The kitchen wasn't clean, and the bread box held two packages of bread past their August 2024 expiry date. In the bathroom, two damaged, dirty roller blinds separated the shower from the toilet and sink. Some furniture was broken as well. At this rather high price, I can't recommend the apartment. My review on FeWo-direkt (a German holiday apartment website) still hasn't appeared. I wonder why?
