The location was good, the price was fair, and the place was comfortable and very clean. Our room was cozy, though a bit small, and the bathroom was tiny but had what we needed. There was also a larger toilet at the end of the hall. The staff were friendly, but check-in was frustrating: we waited around 20 minutes for someone to open the hotel door because the receptionist had stepped away. I didn’t sleep well. Some guests were having a party in a room on our floor, though maybe we were just unlucky that day. The walls are thin, so conversations and snoring from other rooms carry through.

At 27°C, two of the three windows wouldn’t open, and even the manager couldn’t get them to. The shower drain stayed clogged throughout our stay, and breakfast included spoiled milk and fruit. When we arrived, there was no receptionist, so we could walk around the hotel corridors without anyone noticing. A thief or burglar could apparently do the same. The guest internet terminal listed on the hotel website wasn’t in the lobby at all. We also couldn’t sleep until 2 AM, when the loud women’s voices, clattering, and kitchen noise from the restaurant next door finally stopped. Never again!

Right in the center, and there’s no lift. The corridors are narrow, but the room was fairly large and clean. The bathroom had a few leaks. A plus is the attached Turkish restaurant, with grilled meat and salads.

The place is dated rather than modern, but it’s comfortable. Rooms are clean and practical, the staff are friendly, and the rates are reasonable.
