The owner was really kind even though the restaurant was busy when we arrived around 2:00 PM. We had a nice stay, and the food was good, though the prices could definitely be lower. The rooms were spacious and nice, but otherwise plain, with nothing particularly special about them.

It’s a nice setting, and the room was good apart from the bathroom light not working properly. Getting here was a struggle after an unexpectedly tricky bus or taxi from Gottmadingen, though you can also walk from a station in Switzerland. It’s clean but remote. We arrived at 9:15 on a Saturday and couldn’t get anything to eat, even though there’s also a Chinese restaurant. Other local places had the same problem, apart from the Greek place, which offered leftover meat. It would’ve been nice to get food at 9:15 at a restaurant and hotel.

The owner was very, very polite and the food was really good. I stayed for three nights with my wife and three kids. We’ll come again.
