The apartment is nicely furnished and has plenty of room, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. But for somewhere rated four stars and advertised as luxurious, I expected more. The whirlpool feature in the bathroom didn't work, and the green plush carpet in the living room had a strange smell that wouldn't go away even after airing the room. The parking spot marked "Parkplatz FeWo Adlerhorst" was usually taken by the owner, despite her having a garage. I found the place nice, just not luxurious, and the owner wasn't accommodating.

We loved sitting on the three balconies, each with a different panorama. The living room was huge and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the Alpspitze and Waxenstein, and on a clear day you can see the Zugspitze too. Our 100-square-meter "Adlerhorst" apartment was laid out really well, and we felt at home there. The location in Garmisch is central, only a 3-5-minute walk from the pedestrian zone, but still quiet and cozy. The mother and daughter hosting us were both very friendly and accommodating, and gave us great excursion tips. A fantastic stay, we'd love to return. Best wishes, the Krieg family
