We were happy with the room and the bed was comfortable, though there was a small stain on the sheet. It was peaceful apart from the cleaners talking at 8am and trying to come into our room at that time on both mornings. Staff were welcoming, and the location worked well for the concert venue we’d travelled from England to see. We didn’t have breakfast, but were charged for it at checkout. They fixed that, so it was okay. The breakfast was fairly priced, though as a vegetarian I couldn’t eat it. It’s a typical German breakfast that most people would probably be happy with. Getting to Nürnberg on Sunday morning was a struggle. There was no Uber, and a taxi would cost an extra €50 to come from Wurzberg. It’s a long way from the city and not great for public transport. The manager did drive us to the nearest train station that was running, and we paid for the ride. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay.

The staff were very friendly and the food was good, but the place is old and a little dated. It was fine for one night. There was a lot of noise at night, though closing the window stopped it. Then the room got really hot. Breakfast is served in a different building, quite a long walk from the rooms.

We felt at home here on our motorcycle trip. The owner let us keep our bikes in a small garage with a workshop where we could grease the chains, which was ideal since it rained overnight. The restaurant food was amazing, and the service was super nice. It also seemed very family friendly. Our room was clean and nice, with a small balcony. We left the balcony door open for fresh air, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly lovely for the low price, with fresh breads, meat, cheeses, yogurt and more. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

We came for a meal, and the food was great. The chef handled our dietary requirements without any trouble, and the price was reasonable. It’s down an alley near the main street, so the setting isn’t really about the view. My only comment is that the coffee, including the iced coffee, could have been stronger.
