This was our second time at Pension Panorama, and we enjoyed it again. The place was quiet, the rooms clean and tidy, and the new beds very comfortable. Towels and a hairdryer were provided too. Mr. Spiegel was very friendly. It is a religious establishment, but that wasn't a problem for us. At this price, anyone expecting five-star accommodation will be disappointed. We'll definitely return. People should see for themselves instead of being put off by bad reviews.

The room under the roof was cluttered with all kinds of rubbish, and the house smelled of old cigarette smoke. It felt creepy. Bibles were scattered around, along with evangelical church event flyers, yellowed postcards with Christian motifs, and crosses scribbled on the walls. One of the five men living there was very friendly when we greeted him, but that was about the only positive thing. On our departure day, a sign on the door to the private area said no one was home. We left, then called later to ask for the bill. After that, we were bombarded with emails full of insults and Bible verses. The emails were still coming as I wrote this. Definitely not recommended.

With a toddler and a dog, finding somewhere else at short notice wasn't easy. Otherwise, we would've left as soon as we walked in. I've never seen a vacation rental this cluttered, and I still wonder why. There was a foosball table in the middle of the living room under a garden tablecloth, with other games beneath it, which I didn't inspect. A Christmas tree light sat under the attic stairs behind the TV cabinet. Behind the kitchen cabinets under the sloping roof was a pile of things: a kettle, hand mixer, bread slicer, tea towels, and more. Old rugs and bath mats were stacked in the bedrooms, towels were pinned haphazardly to the walls, and I didn't look behind them because I didn't want to know why. An empty tobacco tin was on a nightstand. The couch was stuffed with lots of old little cushions, and it wasn't particularly clean. The whole house was very noisy. I spent the nights trying to keep the dog from barking whenever doors slammed again.

I was out hiking most of the time, so the room only needed to work for a shower and a night's sleep, and it did. I was more than happy with it. The strong smoke smell is the main drawback, probably left over from earlier days. New wallpaper and a coat of paint might help. The entrance is cluttered, but that didn't bother me. It's a basic, very affordable guesthouse, so don't expect five-star luxury. I'd stay again if I'm back in the area. If you need anything, just ask.

The room itself was small, with older but decent furniture, a sink, and bath mats laid over the carpets. There were no sheets, just mattress protectors. The door to the toilet and shower didn't shut properly, and both felt dated; the shower wasn't inviting. During our stay the room wasn't cleaned and the bins weren't emptied. The clutter starts as soon as you enter: the passageway was dirty and could use a quick sweep. Past the stairs was a cloudy aquarium that looked long neglected. Old carpet covered the halls and rooms, with rugs or bath mats on top, and the hallways were packed with upholstered chairs and little tables. Brochures and old Christian pamphlets covered everything, even the windowsills. Behind the house, the barbecue area is just a small patch with a stone fire pit and some old folding chairs.
