The junior suite was roomy, and the hotel felt comfortable and very nice. Breakfast was great. The wellness area is small but pleasant, with a little pool and a sauna. The sauna only runs after 17, though, and it would be better if it were available all day. Parking is a downside: you can’t reserve a spot, and if you drive out, there may be nowhere to park when you get back. It would help if they managed the spaces when they expect a lot of guests. I’d still recommend the hotel.

I was charged 112€ + 118€ even though my reservation listed a single room at 112€ per night. I contacted the hotel by phone and sent several emails, but they showed no interest in fixing the mistake and stayed silent. On top of that, there was a strange grinding noise from the ventilation from around 04:30 in the morning. It must have woken all the guests. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The staff were wonderful, really helpful and kind, and the area is good with an easy walk to the city centre. The rooms, though, are getting a bit shabby and had a strange smell.

The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. WiFi is the one drawback: the signal is strong, but the bandwidth isn’t.

Breakfast was really good, with plenty to choose from, served in a lovely room with freshly ironed tablecloths. The staff were very polite, brought coffee, and kept checking that everything was in order. My room was very hot when I arrived, though opening the windows overnight cooled it down. I’d also have preferred a roomy shower cubicle to a bathtub, but it was fine.
