The rooms are roomy and well equipped, with an LCD, refrigerator and WiFi everywhere. I also liked the comfortable bed and great shower. There's plenty of private parking at the hotel, too. It's a friendly, family-run place with great food and lots of choice, and I appreciated having fruit at breakfast.

I asked about having breakfast here, and the owner said it would be possible. Five minutes later his wife said no, explaining that breakfast was only for guests and “not for people from the street.” That felt unnecessary and rude. She also served a woman who arrived ten minutes after us first because she knew her, leaving me and my two-year-old waiting.

The room and bathroom were modern and clean, and the staff were friendly. It's in a quiet spot near Glauchau Castle, with a nice garden around it. A bit pricey, though.

I've stayed here several times and have found each visit very pleasant. The service is friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable with the usual amenities, and the hotel sits in a historic part of town.

The bedrooms were finished to a very high standard, and breakfast was fresh and lovely. A lovely hotel in the beautiful town of Glachau.
