The staff were very kind, and I'm grateful to them. I arrived from Poland a couple of hours after check in and they were patient, though they asked me to call ahead next time if I'm coming late. I'd like to return and stay more nights to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The traditional German food was really good, and the service was friendly and good too. I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was amazing, and the kitchen was really good too. We got a warm welcome and excellent service, and the quiet rooms had a perfect bed and mattress. This place has everything you need.

After riding the historic steam train to its terminus at Behringersmühle, we walked over to the inn. The food was really good and came out quickly, with excellent prices. The menu is small but easy to understand, and they have regional juices. The waitresses were very friendly. There’s a lovely terrace and a big playground opposite, and it’s a great place to start a hike.

The salad was very good, though the waiter/waitress was extremely unfriendly. Schnitzel and cordon bleu with potato salad are both good and very affordable. I wouldn’t recommend the dishes with sauce, though. They seem to use the same sauce for everything, from roulades to roasts, and it often doesn’t fit the dish. See pictures.
