Dinner was delicious and nicely presented, and breakfast had something for everyone, even if the buffet wasn’t huge. We only stayed one night, but the whole visit exceeded what we expected. The staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the rooms were spotless. There was a complimentary dessert in each room, a lovely touch that cheered us up despite the cloudy weather. We also used the sauna. Bathrobes, slippers, and fresh towels were ready in the room, all clean and comfortable, which made things feel relaxed and well organized. Thanks to the whole team. We’d love to stay again.

Our room was on the small side, but it had a little balcony looking out over the garden, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel’s in a beautiful area, with modern, comfortable decor. The staff were amazing, and the food was delicious. Thanks to the chef for accommodating our small changes. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food, drinks, and service. 😊

Smokers gather outside the hotel, and the smoke drifts into the rooms, so we couldn’t leave our window open or use the balcony. Sitting in the garden wasn’t pleasant for the same reason. Apart from that, it was a comfortable, friendly hotel, well placed for the Bayreuth Festival, hikes, and other things to do in the lovely countryside. The room was good, breakfast great, and the dinner restaurant was good too. Parking was a little ways away.

If you speak German, this place might be quite nice. I don’t, and that made things really difficult. The paperwork, menus, and directions were all in German, and both the hotel and restaurant seemed completely unprepared for English-only guests. Eating elsewhere in town wasn’t much easier. Staff at this supposed 4 star hotel were very inattentive and came across as almost hostile. The rooms were a bit tatty and quite small for 4 star, though otherwise they’d be decent for 3 star.

Comfortable rooms, good food, and kind, attentive staff who were happy to help. I was there for a meeting, and the service and facilities worked well. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing.
