The food was truly excellent, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive throughout. We came for a birthday celebration with about 20 people, our first time here. We had a small farmhouse-style room to ourselves, and it was very charming. We’ll definitely be back.

The only drawback was getting there: Wichsenstein is somewhat remote, and weekend buses are few and far between. Still, our group of 14 had a great weekend at the start of July 2019. The owner was very friendly, cooked for us, and even took time to sit with the guests. Breakfast was generous and excellent for the price, and dinner was tasty and plentiful. We’re hoping to return next year.

We were six bikers staying from August 17th to 21st, 2018. The owners and staff were always helpful and really friendly. Both the food and the rooms were very good, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely come back.

The sign is still up, but the inn has been closed for 3 years! The rooms are nice, though, and breakfast was reasonably good.

The guest rooms were clean and pleasant, and the food and drinks were good too. It’s a very welcoming, family-run inn. I’d be happy to return.
