A cozy hotel with a nice bit of history to it, and a good place for a quiet stay. There’s just enough parking, so finding a spot was a bit of a challenge.

The room and bed were good, and the package came with a great gym, a pool I didn’t see or use, and a very good breakfast. The only letdowns were the tiny German half-duvet and no kettle for tea. I’ll definitely go back.

Staff were superb, and the hotel itself is good, with clean rooms of a high standard. There are several saunas and a pool to cool off in afterwards. You can easily walk to the city centre. Breakfast was solid, though nothing special. My only real bother was having a bathtub instead of a regular shower, but that’s just my personal preference.

The sauna, pool and gym complex was veeeery nice, and breakfast was much better than I expected for German standards. There was a wide choice, and it was genuinely good. Lovely hotel and rooms, with really helpful staff too. 🤩

We came as three couples, and we were all very happy with the hotel, its breakfast and its location. It’s good value, within walking distance of the old town and city centre, and close to the new town hall. Set back a little from the street, it was fairly quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was great, with excellent teas, served promptly.
