Four Points Flex by Sheraton Goettingen Hotel

I’d booked a King Bed room but was given two Twin Beds, and at first nobody acknowledged the mistake. There was also an opened water bottle in the room, which made me question the housekeeping. The 5,000-point compensation felt like a way to save money rather than a sincere attempt to rebuild trust. For a brand of this caliber, that was disappointing service recovery.

Goettingen is a mesmerizing city, and my stay at At The Four Points Flex By Sheraton, Marriott Bonvoy was wonderful. Great location, lovely people, professional service and good food. There’s lots to do, and I’d highly recommend coming for a longer stay. You’ll be amazed. 🫶 Janina Gippert at reception deserves a special mention. She was absolutely wonderful and helped me with everything I needed, from an iron and ironing board to tips on what to do nearby and local events. She took time to show me around and explain how to get places by train and so on. It’s been a wonderful experience. Thank you kindly!

Majid H. at the front desk was AMAZING. We’d been travelling for more than 24 hours without sleep, and he helped us check in early because rooms were available. It was such a relief to get into our rooms. He also gave us great directions and suggestions for places to eat within our budget, and made us feel very welcome. He’s a huge asset to this hotel and the Sheraton chain. He deserves a raise!

We were driving back from a holiday in Italy and desperately needed a hotel at 3 AM. I’d found this one earlier but couldn’t book online that late, so I called and was told to come because rooms were available. The night receptionist, who I think was called Majid, greeted our family warmly and went out of his way to arrange an extra bed, even though housekeeping wasn’t there at that hour. He really didn’t have to do that. We worried we’d be charged a ridiculous price for arriving without a booking, but the rate seemed normal and fair. The room was nice and clean, if not very big, and breakfast was very good.
