Parkhotel Ropeter, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

The bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly, though the room was generally clean. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the AC helped me sleep well despite the warm weather. At Parkhotel Ropeter, breakfast was delicious and distinctly German in style. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chef, who I believe was named Satish, made sure food remained available right until the end, even with only 20 minutes left. Free open-air parking onsite was very convenient. I had a pleasant stay.

The fridge in my room didn't work, which was very disappointing, and the bed was hard as a rock. I don't mind a firm mattress, but this was too much. I booked partly because the hotel advertised a restaurant. Maybe it exists, but I'd never know, since it was never open. With so many hotels in the area, you'd expect better. Very disappointed, and I'll try somewhere else next time.

The rooms, corridors and breakfast were all fine, but there was no AC or ventilation. Luckily, I had a small hand fan of my own. In winter, the lack of air conditioning isn't a problem, but in summer the heat will feel like hell.

There's free parking, and the rooms are very spacious with everything we needed. The hotel is in a pretty good location.
