The shared kitchen had everything we needed, plus tea bags, and they keep the place spotless. We stayed in a double room, and our host was thoughtful, quick to respond, and really kind. Even in August, with the windows facing a busy four-lane road, we weren’t bothered by traffic noise or the heat. Highly recommend it.

The hostel was so quiet and well organised, and everything was spotless. I got the best sleep in a super cosy bed 🥰. It’s handy for the old town, Flix bus, and the train station. There’s free tea and coffee all day, the coffee machine is excellent, and they even do the dishes. I loved the pictures and the look of the place too 😊 Thanks so much for having me, and all the best with your retirement or break from running the hostel! 🙏

For the price, especially with free parking, this is a good little hostel. The staff are great and very helpful, and there’s free coffee and tea. There’s no AC in the rooms, which is fine, though summer nights can get pretty hot. Still, it’s a nice place to stay.

A small, friendly place with helpful staff. The shared kitchen is a nice touch, and everyone can have free coffee and tea. There’s fussball too. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone heading to Göttingen.

The hostel was clean and quiet, though there was some morning noise from a construction site across the road. It’s close to the city centre, and the free WIFI was a real blessing for a short stay when I didn’t want to buy a sim card. I felt at home there, especially with the manager's wife and cute kid around. I’m a MUSLIM WOMAN WITH A SCARF, and I felt comfortable using the shared bathroom and kitchen. I arrived before check-in time and explained that I needed to rest and leave my luggage before my rendez-vous. They let me stay, and I paid just before leaving. THE MANAGER was kind enough to take 10 euros off the bill when I said I was short on money and flying back home. The reception guys were all nice and offered help with luggage, booking trains, and other things. The hostel is also near the train station.
