For getting downtown, the stairs down to the railway station are a handy shortcut. The hotel sits just outside Görlitz’s city centre, in a quiet area, with nice rooms and super friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and having it outside on the terrace was a perfect start to the day.

We found it charming, with spacious, clean rooms, a nice restaurant and bar, and super friendly staff. The hotel is on a quiet street, and you can park outside or in the courtyard for 5 Eur. Good for a night or a longer stay.

The breakfast has a good variety, and I still think this is the best hotel in Gorlitz. That said, it’s looking a little run-down and could use renovation. Some standards have slipped too: there’s no longer bottled water in the room, and parking now costs money when it used to be free.

The rooms were really clean and nice, and I was very pleased. The hotel is on the other side of the city, but only a 10 minute walk from the train station.

The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s very pet friendly, too. There was no AC or minibar in the room, though, and driving to the city centre was a bit complicated because of the one-way streets.
