I have to wonder how this guesthouse earned its rating. The bathroom had no heating, just a radiant heater meant for babies, and it barely worked. The grout was moldy, the shower stall wouldn't close properly, and the fixtures were worn out. There were very few power outlets, and the exterior blinds wouldn't close. Even the "kitchen" had mold in a corner. I can't recommend it, though perhaps the other rooms aren't all like this.

A small, sweet room with its own bathroom and kitchen, and breakfast is served right in the room. The guesthouse is next to the hospital, about a 15-20-minute walk from the city center.

We stayed with our dog from December 23rd to 27th and would happily return. The room was good and clean, but the beds were the standout, worth 5 extra stars! 🥰 The kitchen was fully equipped, the shower spacious and spotless, and the hallway was cleaned often. Our dog was comfortable, and the owners seemed to like him too; he wasn't noisy. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. Our room faced the street, but with the windows shut we couldn't hear anything.

The room was clean and had the essentials, and the bus stop nearby meant we could leave the car parked. We spent four days here. It suits people who are happy with simple accommodation, though I’d choose a room at the back because the other side faces a busy road. The breakfast was very basic, with little variety, so anyone who likes a hearty breakfast might want to bring extra cold cuts. A kettle in the kitchen would have been useful. The lighting was so dim we couldn’t understand why it was like that with LED lamps around, and even the fridge had no light. The owners were generally friendly and helpful, though the housekeeper was quite assertive, which may not suit everyone. The part we found really unpleasant was that the house rules say quiet hours start at 10 pm, yet the owners watched the Champions League loudly until after 11. We couldn’t really get to sleep. We let it go to avoid causing offense, but criticism should be taken seriously so guests aren’t alienated. All the best for the future. Best regards, Annette Schwarz
