Hotel Liono

We’ve stayed at this delightful boutique hotel before. The rooms are comfortable, and Goslar’s old town centre is about a 15-minute walk away. If we come back to the area, we’d always stay here again.

The rooms were extremely clean and quiet, and the owners were so helpful and friendly. We had a great stay, and the breakfast was amazing.

There’s free parking, and Goslar is just a short walk away. The hotel feels cozy and stylish, with neat, tidy rooms and a pretty good bed. Staff were great, and the breakfast buffet was pretty good too. I highly recommend staying here.

Goslar is easy to get around from here, and the area is quiet. The centre is only a few minutes away on foot, and although much of it is closed to cars, that’s no problem in a town the size of Goslar. It’s a good base for exploring the beautiful Harz mountains. The hotel staff give the stay a personal touch. There was a welcome letter in our room, they made my egg the way I wanted at breakfast, and they personally told us about the city and places to visit. Our room had a name instead of a number, and it was good, with a very nice-looking bathroom. It didn’t have a fridge, though I don’t know if the other rooms do. Breakfast was really nice, with plenty of regional food, so it felt less standard than at many hotels. You can’t have dinner at the hotel, but the same owner has a restaurant in the centre. Goslar also has plenty of other restaurants in different styles, and the hotel staff are more than happy to advise you about the choices and their quality. The hotel itself is very nice, with friendly staff and good service.
