I hadn't noticed when booking through booking.com that check-in was only allowed from 16:30 to 18:00. Earlier that day I sent a message through their messenger service to say I would probably arrive late, but got no reply. When I reached the hotel at 10:20 pm, it was locked up and nobody answered my calls. I found another hotel 15 minutes away, but was still charged for this unpleasant experience. Be careful if you're planning to arrive late.

The room was clean and quiet, with a large bathroom. There was a balcony, but it was shared with the room next door, so we couldn't leave the balcony door open. It's in a small village, and the towels were rough. Breakfast ended at 8:30, and I had to leave before 9:30 because the cleaner was already there. They don't accept American Express, and I was also charged a 5% credit card fee.

The service was zero, the way they dealt with customers was very bad, they wouldn't let you eat in the rental room, and they didn't clean. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I do not recommend it, I do not recommend it, I do not recommend it, I do not recommend it.

We never got to stay there. Our car broke down and delayed us, and I had informed the property the day before. Even so, they refused to check us in after 7:00 PM and were completely unwilling to help. The website doesn't list a check-in cutoff, and a hotel that only allows check-in from 4:30 to 6:00 PM is a joke. I think the staff were happy to have been paid for rooms that would remain empty. I don't recommend it. This isn't the hospitality guests should expect.

The place is spotlessly clean and the food is delicious. The owners are kind, have a sense of humor, and help however they can. They even drive guests to the train and wait with them without asking for anything. I don't understand the complaints about them supposedly being unfriendly. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
