There’s no internet or hot water, and the place is terribly dirty. I’d avoid these apartments under any circumstances. They should be shut down, and the people renting them should be expelled from Germany.

I fell for it, unfortunately. Now it’s all about the money. Stay away.

The Booking.com hotline helped us cancel for free, and we managed to find another hotel. I’d advise against booking here. A week before we were due to arrive, they texted to say we’d been moved from Apartment 3 to the smaller Apartment 2. Nobody asked if that was okay. Then, at 3:30 a.m. on arrival day, we got a call saying the room wasn’t available and we’d be put in an apartment 30 km away. We were told cancellation was possible, but by then it would have cost us. The woman on the phone was very rude, and reviews suggest this has happened before.

The booked apartment was already occupied, so I had to find somewhere to stay about 30 km away. That’s completely unacceptable in this digital age. The location itself is very quiet, in a small village where the sidewalks are practically rolled up in the evenings.

The landlords still haven’t responded about the problems. The apartment was very dirty, especially the kitchen and shower, and neither the TV nor the coffee machine worked.
