We stayed over the summer, and I’ve been meaning to write this. The apartment was lovely, the location was great, and we liked everything about the place. It was quiet, thoughtfully decorated, and the hosts were lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy this beautiful area.

The view from our terrace was spectacular, and the room was cozy and comfortable. Jenny and the other staff were welcoming and really helpful. We also enjoyed using the well-maintained spa and pool. A wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely go again.

The customer service was uncooperative, and the staff’s behavior was very poor. The whole experience was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was such an unpleasant experience that I feel I have to explain it. I’m writing to inform future customers, not to insult anyone. The hotel later called me aggressive and a liar in a comment, which isn’t true. I expect they may say I’m lying or insulting again, but I’d prefer a sincere apology. After checkout, we returned to collect our luggage. We were asked if we wanted tea or coffee, so we took a black tea for 4.20 euros, a small cappuccino for 3.90 euros, and three bite-sized cakes at 2.50 euros each. At check-in, the cakes had been described as free. We were then asked to pay 15.60 euros for the drinks and cakes. The invitation had sounded like it was from the hotel, and the price seemed excessive for such small items. The amount itself means nothing to us, and we were fine with paying for what we had. The issue was the way the manager treated us when we raised the unexpected charge. She said, “you are not our guest anymore,” which was technically true since we had checked out, and perhaps we weren’t entitled to anything for free. But she kept cutting us off with “let me talk,” in an annoyed voice, then repeatedly said “thank you” with a nasty, sarcastic, arrogant smile. She could have explained politely that we had to pay. Instead, her attitude felt humiliating and rude, and it ruined the vacation mood. I regret choosing this hotel. This wasn’t what I expected from a four-star hotel. I’ve seen other reviews describing a similar experience, and the hotel’s replies are even more interesting. In my opinion, sarcasm seems to be their specialty, and they never accept fault. I enjoyed reading those reviews before the comments were changed. I’m not angry because I paid. I’ve said that twice now: paying for what I had is perfectly natural, and 15 euros is nothing to me. The management still seems not to understand that the manager’s attitude is the problem. Its unreflective, sarcastic replies only make previous customers angrier and reinforce my public account.
