The goat cheese was mild and so tasty, and the schnitzel with chive sauce was delicious too. We had such a lovely evening with lots of good food 😋. I’ll definitely order that schnitzel again, and we’ll be back.

A few more pasta dishes and vegetarian choices would be nice. The food was fantastic, both the main course and dessert were really tasty, and the service was very friendly. We did have to wait a long time for dessert, though.

The steak was excellent, and the portions were generous. We dropped in spontaneously when it was quite busy, but our order was taken fairly quickly. The wait for the food was 1 hour and 10 minutes, and when I asked about it, I was just told to look at what was going on. It wasn’t so busy at 1:45 pm. The lemonade called “homemade” is made from syrup, so I’m not sure what’s homemade about it. €4.80 felt steep for that. The windows kept getting tilted open, making it cold and uncomfortable. Other guests would close them, then staff would open them again. A funny little game. Most of the staff were very friendly, apart from the older one, who seemed to be having an off day.

After a long cycling tour, the Bermutshain schnitzel with hop-flavored cold soup was just right for me. We were a large group of cyclists at this country inn in Vogelberg, and the service was excellent.
