Mercure Greifswald Am Gorzberg

The staff were terrific, and breakfast was wonderful. My room was small but big enough, and everything looked clean. The deal I booked included breakfast and the daily dinner special, which made it easier to spend my time in town without worrying so much about when or where to eat. The hotel was always there as a backup. There was also a bank with an ATM right next door, which was handy.

Breakfast had a good spread, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was decent sized, but sadly there's no air conditioning.

I booked and cancelled on the same day because the hotel couldn't guarantee what I'd reserved. The booking said cancellation was free, so I shouldn't have had to pay anything. Even so, the hotel is still trying to charge my Mastercard. Is this a scam company?

The room was tiny, hot, and smelled bad. My wife was already upset by the reservation mix-up, so she insisted we find somewhere else, and we did. At reception, I showed that I'd paid for just one room and had made one reservation. The receptionist admitted the mistake was his. By then, my wife had made up her mind to leave. We had booked and paid for two rooms, and because we used the Accor ALL app, we couldn't get a refund for the second room. That upset her a lot, especially since I'd made the booking. I'm very unhappy with how this went. I won't use the app or book there again.
