I was here with colleagues for a big business conference. The modern rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was great, and we had everything we needed. The food was top-notch. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it for business or a relaxing vacation. They also host weddings!

The kitchen serves superb regional and international food. I stayed in the Gästehaus, where the accommodation was nice and comfortable. The interior was clean, functional, in good shape, and not worn out, though nothing fancy. The bathroom was small but clean and modern. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of space in the main building, with sofas for some privacy and things to discover around the grounds and nearby. There are bowling lanes, the sauna is free and a short walk away, and using the indoor sports centre costs 10€. What's not to like?

Rent a bike from the hotel and take the loop to Grimma with the ferry. That ride was one of the highlights of my whole trip, and the bike was nice and well maintained. I came from SF for a wedding. The room was a little sparse and hot, but very comfortable. The family friendly atmosphere and great staff made for an amazing party.

A nice, clean, cozy hotel, with friendly staff and a spacious, well-equipped room. The restaurant food was excellent and tasty. The surroundings are beautiful, and access to the highway is great.

This place is for connoisseurs, not people looking for cheap food or all-you-can-eat. They’re likely to come back. The dining is top-tier. Ratings: Earth Foodprint 4, with no clear CO2 reduction strategy; cleanliness 5, service 5, kindness 5, ambience 5, happy staff 5, stars 5 😀
