The playground seemed like a useful extra for families, and the nearby Autobahn was only a soft background sound for us. The room was roomier than we expected, with a little terrace, a modern feel and a particularly lovely shower. I can't say whether every room has those features, so it may be worth checking. Service was perfectly adequate, and every meal we had, at lunch and in the evening, was excellent. We had a good stay at Deutsches Haus Gruibingen and would recommend it for a one or two night stop. I can't comment on longer stays.

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff were so kind, and the warm, cozy setting made the meal even nicer. The food was delicious and had those traditional German flavors, with a good choice of drinks to go with the hearty dishes. A charming, authentic place that we'd happily recommend for a taste of Germany.

Really tasty food, fresh and served in decent portions, and the staff were quick, nice and friendly. We did have to ask them to clear our empty plates after they'd been sitting with us for a while. Also, they only had Afri Cola, not original Coca Cola, and didn't mention that until we asked. I care about having Coke and Coke Zero available, though I know some people don't. Still a great experience, thanks!

We stopped here on the way south, just five minutes off the A8. The place is stunning, the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the food made with local produce was amazing. It gets much busier than I expected, which must say something about the accommodation and the food. A lovely place to break up the journey.

The welcome was lovely, and the service was quick and always came with a smile. The server was really sweet and friendly. A few days ago, Justin was behind the bar and poured a proper German beer. I'll be back!
