Heuhotel Hof Reumoos

I was really disappointed. The farm is far from the water, and there are barely any animals. The ones there are kept out of reach, and children aren't allowed to look at the cows or horses. They told us, “we don't do that here.” The owners are never reachable by phone. There's no playground on site. The one shown on the website is over a 10-minute drive away, and we have much nicer playgrounds right at home. For walks, you have to drive somewhere first. From the farm, it's asphalt roads or a 5-minute walk through a small wooded area before you're back on asphalt. The accommodation is acceptable, but it has little charm, no design or country style, and the cleanliness is mediocre. Maybe it suits guests whose main activity is barbecuing, but it's completely unsuitable for families with children or for people who already live near the sea. I don't understand the good reviews.

My family and I will definitely come back. The farm is especially good for families, with a large soccer field, a big bouncy castle, and a campfire area. There are also Kira the farm dog, a cat, horses, goats, and a rabbit. We rented a spacious, modern holiday apartment. It was very well equipped, with comfortable beds, a modern bathroom, a washing machine, and a functional kitchen. There's a garden seating area with a charcoal grill right outside the front door. The Diederichsen family runs a fantastically located hay hotel here, in a beautiful part of Schleswig-Holstein. We highly recommend a vacation here.

There are also rooms in the hay hotel and several Tiny-Houses if the apartment's 6 beds aren't enough. The farmhouse holiday apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped to a high standard.

We rented the holiday apartment and feel right at home here. It's cozy and really well equipped, and the setting is beautiful and idyllic.
