We had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were elegant, clean, and a good size. Such a lovely setting, peaceful with the lake in front and forest behind.

The terrace overlooking the lake was a lovely place to sit. We came for lunch on an ordinary Saturday. It wasn't crowded, though there were still a decent number of guests. The menu is a manageable mix of Italian and German dishes. We ordered tortellini with ham and a prosciutto pizza. Both used regular string ham, which was okay, though Italians use cured ham on a proper prosciutto pizza. Portions were generous. We each got tiramisu for dessert, but one would have been plenty since they were huge. Still, it was really delicious. The staff were pleasant and friendly, seemed happy at work, and had time for jokes with guests and among themselves.

The rooms were spacious, with large bathrooms and free Wi-Fi, and the staff made us feel at home. Breakfast and the restaurant were superb, with amazing views in the morning. Dinner on the deck was excellent too. The new hotel overlooks the lake, with a public park and beach and a cycling path between the hotel and the water. It's about a kilometer from town, and there aren't any nearby amenities, so ask for a room facing the beach. My only regret is not staying longer. I'll be back!

I stopped for breakfast while on the way. The location is very good, and the buffet had an excellent range of hot and cold dishes. Service was very good, with friendly staff.
