Aparthotel

The apartment is spacious and attractive, with three bedrooms, good beds, and room for eight. But there’s a lot that needs fixing: the smoke detectors were all missing, the bathroom grout was rusty, the cupboards were nearly falling apart, the wallpaper was peeling, and there were cobwebs on the walls. The curtains were odd, too. My daughter heard mice scurrying in the walls all night. The fridge was old but clean, and it wasn’t ready to use when we arrived. You can ask for a gas stove if you want to cook. To get in, we had to call a number, and the lady of the house came right away. We later called to ask for a broom, and she arranged that quickly too. She was very friendly.
