We hadn't booked ahead, but they found a nice table inside for us and our two dogs. The service was very good, and the wine and food were delicious, worth every euro. After dinner we took our drinks out to the platform and spent a lovely evening watching the activity on the lake.

The salads, Bodensee shrimp, and fish were all fantastic, and there was a great wine selection. The waterfront views made it even better.

A nicely designed restaurant right by the lake, with a covered terrace at the water's edge. Friendly service, good food, and a comfortable atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

We felt cheated by the whole experience, especially as a large group of non-German speakers. The set menu was far too expensive, and nobody clearly explained the price beforehand. The bill came to much more than any prices they had made publicly available. The food was poor, and cost more than three times as much as dishes on the other menus. It didn't justify that price at all. It felt like we were being deliberately taken advantage of. We were offered only the most expensive wine, with no other options or prices explained, which came across as upselling. A tip was also added automatically without telling us. In Germany, tipping is voluntary and customary, usually around 5-10% if you're happy with the service, not something the restaurant should set automatically. When we complained, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful, and there was no way for customers to register a complaint. Sorry, I won't return and can't recommend this restaurant, especially to tourists. Pricing should be fair and clear, and customers should be treated respectfully. That was all missing here.
