Hotel Casa Maria

The rooms at Casa Maria were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we felt completely at home thanks to the warm, helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. We loved the Italian food, especially the pizza, with its crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors. We tried other dishes too, and everything was amazing. The guesthouse is a charming place to stay in Buching, near Neuschwanstein Castle, and we’ll definitely come back. We took a photo at dinner, and just looking at it brightens the day!

The area is peaceful and quiet, and the rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast was good, with gluten-free bread available 👍. A very nice place, and I can recommend it.

We only stayed one night, and the room was good, with a nice bed and a fine bathroom. The staff were really friendly, and it’s convenient that there are four charging points. A sign saying they’re for electric cars might help. The breakfast room was much too warm for me with all the windows shut. We’ll come back sometime :-)

The staff went out of their way for us. After we asked about vegan food at check-in, the person who had welcomed us brought a plate of vegan ham and cheese to breakfast the next morning. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d gone to the supermarket to get it. The breakfast was already great, with lots of fresh bread, vegetables, fruit, cereals, granola, coffee, and juice. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from Neuschwanstein Castle, and breakfast was included in our rate, though I hadn’t noticed that when booking. They said there were only a few vegan options, which was what we expected. Highly recommended, and worth checking out.
