Waldhotel Restaurant Alte Ziegelei

We’ve eaten here with the family now and then and have never regretted it. The staff are very friendly and do their best to meet what customers ask for. Sometimes the food takes a while, but that’s because they’re short-staffed, not because the employees aren’t trying. They really do their best. The restaurant is near the woods and mainly serves German food. After eating, you can take a walk along a field path into the forest, with fresh air all around. I can’t comment on the rooms since I’ve never stayed overnight. We’re happy to recommend the " Alte Ziegelei".

The conservatory is decorated really nicely, and both the coffee and cake were delicious. The staff were very friendly and service was quick. We’ll definitely return on our motorcycle. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast was very good, and the place was adequate for a one-night stay. The hallway had a strong chlorine smell, though, and it was sometimes hard to find your way around. We could hear the street at night, and the glasses in the bathroom were dirty.
