Apart Hotel Halle

Still being renovated, due to open 30.7. It was looking beautiful already, small but stylish and unusual.

The hotel is always clean, and the staff are always polite.

The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The hotel was full, yet we enjoyed how quiet it was. Everyone at reception was courteous and welcoming, and there was someone there around the clock. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh rolls, egg dishes, salmon, a good range of cheeses, very good coffee, and even cake. We could book a breakfast time and still choose a table with plenty of room between guests. Gloves were available at the buffet, and the very friendly waiter wore a mask properly. The wine bar was cozy. We didn't try the sauna, so I can't say anything about it. We like smaller hotels, and this one felt special from the warm welcome onward. We booked parking because spaces in the old town's narrow streets are hard to find on weekends. €9.90 a day seemed perfectly reasonable. Our dog was welcome too, for a one time charge of €12 for the whole weekend, which is rare. At the Baltic Sea we've paid €20 per day. The double room was lovely and spotless, with comfortable beds, two pillows each, good blackout curtains, a small fridge, TV, nice carpeting, plenty of storage, a very nice bathroom, a large shower, and good lighting. The hallways had a theater theme, with old desks, paintings, trunks, framed lamps, and theater puppets. We'll definitely come back.
