The main problem was how housekeeping handled my room and belongings. At check in, I was asked whether I wanted room cleaning. I clearly said I only needed fresh towels during my two night stay. When I returned later, the room had been fully made up, which felt like a serious invasion of privacy. My things had been moved and touched. Housekeeping packed my toiletries in the bathroom, including expensive cosmetics, and one serum spilled inside my toiletry bag, ruining everything. They also folded my dirty clothes and mixed them with clean ones. I found it extremely inappropriate for anyone to handle my laundry. I have worked in housekeeping, and know personal belongings shouldn't be touched unless necessary. They also took things I had deliberately left in the room: work receipts, information papers, and bottles I meant to reuse and return for a refund through the recycling system. They decided what was disposable without asking. Everything had been neatly placed on shelves or tables, not on the bed, and nothing was in the way. The curtains had been left open after the visit, even though the room faced a small inner patio with windows very close by. I had kept them closed for privacy, and now my belongings were exposed to people in those windows. I tried to complain, but the front desk was closed for the night, and there was no staff available. Their working hours are limited. Some basics were good: check in was quick and smooth, I was allowed into the room early, the location had good city connections, and breakfast was basic but had enough to start the day. The room itself was clean, though the view was disappointing. Still, none of that made up for having my privacy and possessions disregarded. A simple stay became stressful and frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously, because guests' space needs to be respected.

Clean, well located, and good value. It's a little basic, with no glasses and too few power outlets or other amenities.

I had an unexpected medical emergency and needed to cancel my stay. I could have provided all the documents explaining why I couldn't travel. I called repeatedly, left voicemail messages, and sent several emails, but nobody replied. I was charged the full amount for a stay I never had. The lack of any response is what disappointed me most. No one even bothered to speak to me or email me. I'd had a better impression of German hospitality.

The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff seemed friendly from what I could tell. But the rooms are basic and functional, feel cheap, and the hotel has nothing charming or inviting about it, or much of a design feel. We paid 173 for one night, far too much for a room that felt more like a hostel. I don't think I'll return.
