A good, cheaper place to stay in Hamburg’s suburbs, especially if you want a practical, working-man kind of setup. Both parts of the accommodation have clean, well-equipped kitchens, and the toilets and showers are good. It’s always spotless, parking is easy, and Frau Altmann is a lovely, friendly host who keeps everything running well.

Christiane was always available and a friendly, capable host, and check-in was simple. We spent four days at the guesthouse while exploring Hamburg, and it all matched what was described online. The location was great, and our clean, simply furnished rooms had excellent mattresses. Having access to a kitchen was convenient too. We’d gladly return.

At Ahoi Guesthouse I felt right at home. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the service was excellent. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for yourself. Just perfect, I’ll be back.
