I stayed from 17 to 20 Nov 2025, and nobody cleaned my room during those three nights. I complained the night before checkout, but still no one came. They couldn't give me a proper explanation. At checkout they offered a €50 voucher for a future stay as compensation. I refused, of course. The experience was a nightmare, and I won't be back. That was their idea of making up for such poor service.

You need to request room cleaning in advance, which is a bit unusual. Once you know that, though, I like the policy and service. It gives you a little more privacy and saves some resources.

The staff were lovely, really friendly and efficient, and breakfast was excellent. My wife liked the hotel too, and I really like it. The one awful part was the music they played in the lobby all day. It was incredibly bad, like elevator music piped through the whole lobby.

They charge €120 for the night at this four-star hotel, yet management decided not to provide water in the room. If that's what customer service is like, just imagine.

The bar had a welcoming feel, and the staff were really helpful. My dog loved the place, and I got a quiet spot to rest in a clean, spacious room. Breakfast was good and served for long hours each day, and checkout was later than at many other places. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Hamburg. I’m thinking of coming back this summer and will check the prices.
