Getting to Jungfernstieg took about 20 minutes by subway, with no change, and there are shops and a Trabrennbahn stop nearby. Wandsbek felt safe, and parking on the street is possible since the lot is tiny. The place is clean and in good condition, though pretty basic. There’s no breakfast, but coffee and tea are available. Check-in is self-service, with a helpful helpline. I’d recommend it if you don’t need to be downtown.

The main thing to watch out for is late checkout. The cleaners didn’t seem to know what it meant at all, and apparently hadn’t been told about ours either. Otherwise, no complaints. The place was decent, though the restaurant’s outdoor seating might make nights a little noisy in summer. It closes at 11 pm.

The room was okay, but service let me down. They asked us to leave towels on the floor if we wanted them changed. I did, and they just hung the towel back up.

The room and bathrooms were clean and thoughtfully equipped. Check-in was quick and really easy, all online and contactless before we arrived, unlike the long waits at some hotels. A kettle and tea in the room would be a nice touch for a cup first thing in the morning. Still, I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation and would come back to Hamburg for it. 10/10.

My room was spacious, clean, cozy, and tidy, with new furniture and everything I needed. The house itself is modern and new, and the neighborhood is very quiet. I could reach it easily by car and got a free parking space. Check-in was simple: they send you a code to open the key box. For such a low price, this is the best place I could find in Hamburg. I had a lovely stay and highly recommend it. Huge thanks! 👍🏻💯🙏🏻
