4/10
The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and breakfast was very good. But I barely slept. My room was on the first floor, with the Ubahn running almost directly underneath until 1 a.m. A hotel storage room was right next door, and staff started moving things around at 7 a.m. After that short night, I hoped to catch a daytime nap, but the hotel was renovating its lifts and drilling in the hallway was incredibly loud. I left exhausted and annoyed. Never again.

The location could be an issue for some people. There’s a lot of building work nearby, and the main station draws some unsavory people, which might be concerning if you haven’t travelled much. The hotel itself was comfortable and well maintained, with an extensive, excellent breakfast. Staff were willing to help however they could. They also made my birthday feel special with a small cake in the room and some complimentary refreshments later on.

The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from, and the evening bar offers a great range of drinks. Staff are friendly and very efficient. The rooms are quiet, with no noise from the corridor or outside. I’d definitely stay again.

We needed to be near the central train station, so the location suited us, and the price was good. We really liked our room and thought the hotel was lovely, with nice staff. Just be aware that the nearby areas can feel a bit scary at night, and the neighborhood was rougher than we expected.

We loved our stay. There are lots of restaurants and shopping malls close by, and breakfast had a great selection. The staff were lovely and friendly.
