Holiday Inn Hamburg - Hafencity by IHG

The parking took a star off my rating. If you drive, be ready to walk around 300 m to Hong Kong Strasse 6. That’s fine in normal weather, but annoying when it’s wet or snowy. Otherwise, the service was great all round, the breakfast was yummy and healthy, and the gym was decent, with cardio equipment, hand weights, and nice views. I had an excellent two-night stay in a standard room, found it good value, and would recommend the hotel. Moin.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel has a lovely calm atmosphere. Everyone on staff was really lovely and attentive to details, especially restaurant manager Tobias. It’s conveniently close to an underground station, with easy access to all areas. A really lovely hotel, and the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in.

The accessible room worked well for a wheelchair, with an accessible bathroom, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. It’s a clean, well-maintained hotel, and coffee is free even if you don’t have breakfast. Getting to the hotel is easy, but parking takes some effort: the garage is small. Paid parking outside is possible, though watch out for the very active parking police.

The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was nice. It’s a very good hotel in a great location, though it doesn’t offer many amenities.
