We had a fantastic few days here and loved every minute. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, and the room was really spacious, with a seriously huge bed and an equally impressive bathroom. Breakfast included hot and cold options, with choices for all dietary needs. The nearest U Bahn station was about a seven-minute walk.

Guests often praise the staff as friendly, helpful, attentive, and professional, and describe the rooms as clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with especially comfy beds. The breakfast buffet also gets a lot of praise for its large selection. Crowne Plaza Hamburg, usually identified in reviews as Crowne Plaza Hamburg-City Alster by IHG, is a 4-star hotel in Hohenfelde near Alster Lake. People generally find the location convenient and safe, with easy public transport into the city and a quiet neighborhood. Free Wi-Fi, a good gym, and fresh, modern decor are other positives mentioned.

They arranged an early check-in at 11 a.m. and upgraded me to a spacious suite, which was a lovely start. The welcome snacks and drinks made me feel appreciated. I did miss the Club Lounge, which I usually enjoy at Crowne Plaza hotels, but the invitation to dinner more than made up for it. Dinner was excellent: risotto balls, a great cheeseburger, chocolate cake, and a very good glass of Zweigelt red wine. Many thanks to Mr. Nasrat Murad from the restaurant and bar team for his exceptionally friendly, attentive service. He made the evening special. Everything went smoothly, and I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my outstanding stay at Crowne Plaza Hamburg – City Alster. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The rooms were spotless and fresh, and the reception team were so friendly and helpful, especially Sorina. We also loved the wonderful breakfast. With public transport close by and the hotel in a convenient area, we had a truly great stay.

It was my first stay here, and I came away charmed. The rooms were cozy and very tidy, and the surrounding area seemed peaceful and safe. Sophiia deserves a special thank you. She answered lots of my questions and was so helpful, a highly professional member of staff. I wish her the best in her career and hope her hard work is noticed and appreciated.
