Moxy Hamburg - Finkenwerder

It's close to Airbus, but the rooms are very basic. The bed is small and there's no desk to work at. After a shower, the bathroom floor was completely wet, and there's no mirror heating to clear the steam. For a new hotel, it should be better.

Being just a few meters from the Airbus site and the bus was ideal for me. The rooms are brand new, clean, and nice, with great blackout curtains and a very comfortable bed. On opening day there were glitches and problems all around, but the staff did a wonderful job looking after everyone. The food at the bar could be better. A lot of it is frozen or pre-cooked, though the Rewe next door is a great place to pick up food and snacks.

The rooms are new, clean, and well maintained, though on the small side. They're efficiently laid out and work well for solo guests or short business trips. Breakfast has a nice range of continental choices. Moxy Hamburg Finkenwerder has the lively, youthful feel typical of the Moxy brand, with stylish interiors and a welcoming lobby that also works as a social space. Its biggest draw is being close to the Airbus campus, handy for official visits, meetings, or training. It's a good base for short business stays. Lunch and dinner choices are limited, and with no good restaurants nearby, eating options can feel restrictive on longer visits. The hotel also doesn't take cash, which could be a problem if you're carrying cash or have trouble with your card. Plan ahead for meals and payment.

The waitress in the bar and restaurant gave brilliant service! Strongly recommended, and really convenient if you're staying for business at Airbus.
