The room was far more spacious than we expected for a "small double," and it was very comfortable. The whole hotel has a modern, stylish feel. We were welcomed warmly by a receptionist with excellent English, who also let us check in early, which we appreciated. We spent two nights here in late February on a city break, and it made a perfect base for Hamburg’s main attractions and museums. We didn’t eat at the onsite restaurant, but we did have drinks at the bar and liked how well stocked the "tuck shop" was. A very pleasant stay, and we’d recommend it.

PIERDREI was a great base for our visit to Miniatur Wunderland, and the family room was amazing. The hotel was SO COOL, and we loved the breakfast. It was a lovely way to "meet" Hamburg, and we really enjoyed our visit to Miniatur Wunderland too. Thank you so much!

The location is hard to beat: there’s a bus stop right outside, it sits between the old and new parts of town, and Miniatur Wunderland is under a 10-minute walk away. The elbphilharmonie takes a little over 10 minutes on foot, and there’s a cheap food option around the corner. We got a warm, friendly welcome. The staff seem well trained, helpful, on top of things, and happy to be there. Our clean room had board games that we tried and enjoyed, a well-equipped bathroom, and good A/C and circulation. It was quiet too. The attached pictures are display in the hallway.

We stayed over the Christhmas holiday, and the location was perfect for a short visit. It’s close to all kinds of places, including the different markets, the biggest one at Rathaus, Hafen City, Philarmonie, and Miniatur Wunderland. Our stay was comfortable and quiet in a large, clean, modern room, and a free safe was available. Breakfast is offered for an additional price, which mattered since we found quite a few restaurant working in the mornings. The staff were very friendly and quickly sorted out our requests, including suggestions for a restaurant around and late check-out. The price seemed fair for the service. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s on the inexpensive side for Hamburg these days, especially given how central it is, so the 5 star rating needs to be seen in that context. The place isn’t fancy and has a bit of a funky vibe; the washroom is basic, but clean. There’s an underground parking garage, though it took a bit of going around to find it. Getting from the parking area to reception was like a maze, and a couple of other guests seemed confused too. The location itself can’t be beat, right in the heart of the city.
