Premier Inn Hamburg City Hammerbrook Hotel

Getting into the center was easy: the S-Bahn is a five-minute walk away, then the ride takes about five minutes. The location is excellent, and our room was comfortable and felt high quality. Sharing one duvet between two people was inconvenient, and the Wi-Fi gave us major problems. They also asked us to pay an extra fee of around €2-5 despite us living in Germany. I expected drinking water in the room, but there wasn't any, and the mini-market at the hotel is very expensive. I'd bring your own water.

The room was clean and comfortable, though fairly plain. The purple lights struck me as unusual, but I could switch them off and use normal white lights instead, so it wasn't an issue. What made the stay worry-free was how carefully the staff handled my type 1 diabetes supplies. They kept my insulin in the fridge and my ice packs in the freezer every day, never mixing anything up. I asked for them each morning and night so I could rotate them, and the staff always helped with a smile. Alicia, a lovely young woman on the morning shift, was especially kind and attentive. I felt very comfortable staying here and would gladly come back. I'm especially grateful to the staff.

A clean, modern place with friendly staff and a good location near HBf. Coming from the tourism industry, I think a bottle of water in the room would be a nice touch, especially for guests checking in late.

We were close to Hamburg Mitte, with shops, restaurants, and attractions easy to reach, which made exploring the city convenient. Premier Inn was remarkably peaceful despite being near the busy center. The soundproofing seemed excellent: I heard nothing from outside or the neighboring rooms, and the calm made it easy to relax. Our room was spacious, modern, spotless, and decorated in a soothing way. The bed and plush bedding were especially comfortable after a busy day. Staff were friendly and attentive; free Wi-Fi and a hearty breakfast added to the value. It was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend Premier Inn if you want somewhere quiet, comfortable, and convenient in Hamburg. I'll definitely be back!
