Having a kitchen in the room was especially handy for my longer stay, and free coffee was available whenever I wanted it. The room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the internet stayed fast and reliable enough for online meetings. I had a very pleasant visit and would gladly recommend the hotel or stay again.

The hotel's location right in the city center made it easy to walk to the main sights, and the breakfasts were good. The rooms were clean and service was good too. Even the correspondence before arrival and check-in went smoothly. It was a lovely stay, and I highly recommend the hotel.

We were four people staying for two nights in mid-September. The room was bright, airy, quiet, and spotless, with plenty of storage. The beds, sofa bed included, were really comfortable. It was useful having a separate toilet and basin as well as the bathroom, and there was a TV in both the bedroom and living room. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it looked well stocked with plates, pots, and cooking utensils. The place seemed carefully designed around what guests might need, right down to the disposable non-slip bathroom mat. Free tea and coffee were always available on the ground floor, along with a vending machine for beer, soft drinks, and snacks. We had little contact with reception, but the staff were friendly when we arrived and left, and invited us to call down if we needed anything. The hotel is well placed for central Hamburg.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated the healthy breakfast choices, clean room, kettle, safe, and morning desk staff. The sights were also within walking distance. Check-in was rough, though: I waited around 30 minutes in the lobby before anyone showed up, and the front door was left open, which raised security concerns. The first room had a broken TV connection and dead light fixtures, so it was too dark to work in. I had to pack everything again and move to a first-floor room facing the six-lane road. Even after those check-in and room problems, they wanted to charge extra for a room away from the street.

The free coffee was really good, and my kid loved the hot chocolate. The hotel was clean, pleasant, and in a great spot for walking around the city. We had a room at the back, which was a relief because traffic could still be heard briefly at night and in the morning. My only real complaint was breakfast: there was scrambled egg but no bacon, and my 11-year-old was so disappointed he didn't want to eat anything. I was disappointed too. For me, serving an international breakfast without bacon is a big reason to think twice about coming back or recommending the hotel. Still, we had a very pleasant stay as a family.
