The stay was nice and everything was clean. Just keep an eye on food in the fridge, someone ate my kids’ ice cream. The door can be a little tricky to open. Would recommend.

We couldn’t sleep because people kept walking upstairs and outside our door, ringing the bell, opening and shutting doors, talking loudly, and making the floorboards creak. The room smelled musty and unclean, including the beds and pillows, which smelled bad and may not have been washed. The beds were old, untidy, and squeaky. My family and I weren’t expecting a fancy hostel for what we paid, but we did reasonably expect clean beds, a quiet night, and a private shower. The TV and WiFi didn’t work, despite what the Booking.com listing said. You’ll regret staying here. Absolutely would not recommend 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

The place is in a good spot, with useful public transport and plenty of free parking, though a few spaces are a street away. Check-in is easy with a code sent beforehand, and the shared kitchens on the ground and first floors are generally adequate, with only a few small flaws. A former doctor's office has been turned into lodging, but the building feels run down after many poorly done renovations. The rooms are very noisy because of thin walls and old doors, especially at night when guests come back or check in. The first-floor terrace could be a nice place to sit and chat in the evening, but a refrigerator blocks it from the kitchen and it’s locked, so only guests in one room can use it. The first-floor bathrooms are quite different: one has been renovated, though not professionally, while the other looks untouched for about 20 years. Most beds are worn and noisy, the bunk beds wobble a lot, and the room furnishings need replacing. The shared bathrooms are cleaned daily, but each person gets only one towel for the whole stay, with no change. It’s a nice idea in a good location, but for €10-15 more per person per night, you could get significantly more comfort elsewhere.
