HUB Apartments - Harburg

The rooftop was a lovely place to unwind, and the room felt calm, clean, and easy to settle into. I spent three months here as a student guest and really enjoyed it. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and booking was simple. The carpet could have been cleaner, but everything else was excellent. I’d happily stay again.

Update: the issue has been resolved, but I’ve kept my original comment below. I was still waiting 16 days for a refund after being charged twice for a recent stay. Reception didn’t reply to my emails, leaving a lot of money tied up on my credit card. That lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. Even if processing the refund took time, an update would have made the situation easier.

The area is peaceful, with nearly everything you need just around the corner. We stayed for a few days, and it was honestly a 10/10 experience. HUB apartments has been my best stay in Hamburg so far. The rooms are nice and affordable, and the staff are genuinely kind and go out of their way to help.

Everything else was good, but the service around our room request was weak. I contacted them several times to say I preferred a higher floor, yet we were put on the ground level even though higher-floor rooms were available. Then, on checkout day, our key stopped working and nobody was at reception. I called, and it took a while for them to replace it without contact. It was stressful, and we nearly missed our flight because of the delay.
