Our triple room had a separate section with its own bathrooms and a small kitchen, which was more than we expected from this pretty basic place. The staff at the hotel where we picked up the key were friendly. St Pauli and Reeperbahn are close by, so it works well if you want to stay near them. Just expect noisy nights and bring earplugs. We stayed two nights.

It wasn’t bad, but the place definitely didn’t look like it was advertised. The area gets busy and lively at night. The stairs are a real struggle, especially with luggage. And if you’re after somewhere fancy and upscale, this isn’t it.

The building and room feel a bit worn and squeaky, though the equipment is adequate for a euroweekend. The location is handy, just a minute from Repperbahn if you want to start partying. Our room faced a closed yard, so surprisingly, we barely heard any noise.

From the room at the back, it was reasonably quiet. It was a basic setup with a queen-size bed, TV, table and two chairs, plus a powerful shower. The side street is very close to Reeperbahn, and the metro is a three-minute walk away. Pauli is a lively nightlife hot spot.

We couldn’t hear outside noise, and nothing was far away, though the street itself wasn’t the best. The place wasn’t so bad, but we never got the WiFi that was included in the price. Our windows were broken, so we couldn’t open them during the stay.
